Sex as a Sport and the Creation of an European Sex Championship: What is it about?

Sweden has become the first country in the world to officially register sex as a sport.

“Just like any other sport, achieving the desired results in sex requires training. Therefore, it is only logical that people also start competing in this aspect”, Dragan Bratych, president of the Swedish Sex Federation, explained in ‘Times of India’.

The Swedish Sex Federation has even organized the first European Sex Championships, which will be held in Gothenburg on June 8.

What is the European Sex Championship like?

At the European Sex Championship, participants will compete in 16 disciplines over six weeks.

Each of the events will last between 45 minutes and one hour and participants may have to compete for up to six hours in one day.

Twenty people from different countries are expected to compete and the winners of the events will be decided by a panel of judges scoring from five to 10 and by popular audiences.

In the competition, participants can earn extra points by demonstrating their theoretical knowledge of the Kamasutra.

“The incorporation of sexual orientation as part of the sporting tactics will be a revolutionary development among European countries,” said the organizers of the European Sex Championship.

Confirmed participants in the European Sex Championship: Selva Lapiedra (Spain), Ann Joy (Finland), Sexy Lexy (Portugal), Monsieur Lorenzo Viota (France), Nek Sinner (Greece), Matthew Meier (Ukraine), Barbie Sins (Great Britain), Mister Riddle (Russia), Sweet Mery (Croatia), and Mugur (Romania) are the confirmed participants so far.
